This stunning musical artist was picked up by Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) July 2013 to be one of seven artists currently signed with the popular record label – as the first lady on the label.
Solana Rowe, better known by her stage name SZA, is an alternative R&B singer who mixes elements of soul, chillwave, hip-hop, and more in her tracks. Some major influences in SZA’s music include Wu-Tang Clan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Billie Holiday – making this singer a sponge for eclectic sounds and styles.
After dropping her first EP, See.SZA.Run in 2012, her second EP, S in 2013, and another EP, Z in 2014, it is clear this artist has a plan. She is currently working on her fourth EP, A. The release date for A is still unclear, but she has called the creative process for the latest album “the best process so far.”
SZA offers plenty of musical options to choose from, no matter your genre of preference. Between the relaxing “Terror Dome,” to the trance-like sounds of “Babylon,” and even the incomparable “Warm Winds,” you are guaranteed to fall in love with this blossoming artist.
