Oh, Northern Virginia. I have a love-hate relationship with you. I miss my friends when I am not here, but you know what I do not miss? Driving. With bumper-to-bumper traffic almost 100 percent of the day, what is there to love? If you are like me and are not too fond of driving in NoVa, here are a few thoughts you might have during the entire ordeal.

1. There goes a cop.

2. Oh great, another red light.

3. How long have I been sitting here?

4. Yes! A green light!

5. Go, go, go... please go!

6. Dammit. I missed the light.

7. I am going to start timing how long I sit at stop lights.

8. Still here, 30 seconds later.

9. No, it's fine, I did not want to get to my destination today anyway.

10. There goes another cop.

11. The speed limit is 55 miles per hour. Why are you going 55 miles per hour?

12. Ma'am, I'm going to need you to turn on your lights.

13. Another red light! Are you kidding me?

14. Yessir, that is me honking at you.

15. No turn signal? No problem.

16. If another person slams on their brakes when the light turns yellow I am going to throw myself out of this car.

17. I am just going to attempt to get in the right-hand lane... I guess not.

19. I have five minutes to get there before I am late. I am less than a mile away. I can do this.

20. Is that a-- Yep. That's a cop.

21. *Nearly 15 minutes later* Better late than never! No thanks to traffic.
