10 signs you are ready to be back at Radford

Coming home for the summer can be pretty refreshing when you are met with home cooked meals, no papers to write or tests to study for, and lots of catching up with family and hometown friends. All this is much needed after a tough school year, but with the good comes the sad: You miss your college buddies! While being at home is relaxing, it inevitably warrants seasonal employment, arguments with your parents and a lot of reminiscing! So for those who can’t wait to be back in Rad-town, this is for you!

1. You wake up in the morning in your own bed.

You could have sworn you slept in your roommates bed last... oh.

2. You make ramen before realizing there’s actual NUTRITIONAL food at your parent’s house.

But it’s OK because Cup Noodles has vegetables in it! And your friends at school don’t scold you for making three cups at 1 a.m.

3. Your mom has started to leave notes telling you to clean you room, even though you know exactly where everything is and cleaning would just ruin that.

4. You find yourself cheering when the amount of time you spent in traffic that day is less than three hours.

When walking to class takes less than 10 minutes, it's hard to adjust.

5. It’s 3 a.m. and no one else in the house is awake.

And there you are, watching "American Dad."

6. You have to wake up at an ungodly hour on a Saturday because your boss put you on the schedule for the morning shift.

I NEED SLEEP DAMMIT.

7. Calling for delivery at 11:30 p.m. and realizing nothing is open.

The horror.

8. You find yourself reading any and every article that you see about your favorite school.

Case in point.

9. You realize most people don’t find it acceptable to be drunk every night of the week.

Liquor before beer, you're in the clear. Beer before liquor, you're still fine. You go to Radford. Come on now.

10. It is now August. That means you have been away from the college life for four months!

TO FREEDOMMMM!
